Why It's Okay to Share the Best Version of Yourself Online and Beyond
For whoever needs to hear this - it's okay to share the 🌟absolute best 🌟version of yourself on LinkedIn, on dating apps, and everywhere.
You're not taking anything away from anyone else when you share the best of yourself.
I work with so many people who are truly hiding their light in a variety of ways, both in real life and online.
Why do we do this?
Life is so short.
It's okay to be confident.
It's okay to claim your wins.
It's okay to wear bold lipstick (or not, your choice, but honestly this is something I need to hear!)
It's okay to network by saying "I'm great at x" or "my expertise is in y."
It's okay to share only a portion of yourself online, and for that to be the *best* of what you do and who you are.
The more we show up with our strengths and our light, the more others can do so.*
And I'm not talking about toxic positivity. Or fakeness.
I'm talking about letting your amazing-ness shine and be a light for others, in whatever way feels right and authentic to you.
If you're here scrolling, you might as well show up, right?
So what can you share, about yourself, that's great?
What hurdles have you overcome?
What do you find interesting?
What's your expertise?
What has been your career trajectory and why?
What wisdom do you have, however personal, that could help someone?
I love to see people show up and share their strengths and light. It's always a boost.
We need more of this, don't we?
