Mastering Follow-Up: Boost Your Personal Brand and Networking on LinkedIn

If I could get people to change one thing about their job search, it would be this: follow up 📆 . (See below for a freebie to help you stay organized!)

➡ Follow up is so critical in the job search.

🚫 I am not talking about relentlessly bugging people...bad idea.

I'm talking about following up on applications in a timely manner, having the opportunity to make your name known, make critical contacts, and to reiterate your interest in the role.

I've seen clients secure interviews and eventually the job this way.

🌟 Yes, thank you notes (emails) still matter.

🌟 Yes, networking can get you closer to a role and open up roles you didn't know about.

🌟 Yes, staying organized in the job search is the name of the game.

To that end, I'm sharing a job search tracking spreadsheet 📈 with anyone who comments below or DMs me for the link.

This is a simple sheet but it will help you stay organized. It has 3 tabs:

1. Job search tracking

2. Networking tracking

3. Job search timeline and networking steps - including a LinkedIn trick many people don't use, that can help you immensely in the job search.

Comment below or DM me if you'd like me to share the Google spreadsheet, I'll be sharing it throughout January.

🎯 My goal is to make your job search easier - to make the jobs you want come to you. Want to talk more about what that looks like? Use the link in the post header to book an appointment.
