How Executive Women Can Communicate Their Unique Value for Career Advancement

80% of my clients are executive women who are absolutely crushing it at work. Each person is unique - but they come to me because they have the same problem. They need help communicating their unique value.

It's not easy to do this for yourself. Especially with the demands of day-to-day life.

But it's so important to be ready for opportunities before they arrive.

Openings for top executive roles are fewer and farther between than for junior roles.

So you've got to be ready.

Last year I worked with executive women in nonprofits, finance, media, pharmaceuticals, public health, healthcare, tech and many other areas.

Each project is different, but there are methods I use for every client.

Here are a few questions to ask yourself to help you identify your unique value:

✔ What have you done time and again at each organization, or as you moved up? What was the impact?

✔ What projects/processes/initiatives are you continually asked to lead?

✔ How do you lead?

✔ How do you leap over hurdles or move mountains?

✔ How do you build teams?

✔ What do others say is different about you?

✔ What are the personal qualities and characteristics you bring to each role?

That is how you identify what you should include in your résumé and focus on in interviews.

Taking the time to understand and be able to communicate your unique value will yield huge benefits in the executive job search.
