How to Escape a Wasp Nest Job and Find a Healthier Career

Is this how work feels? 😆

Really glad I found this in our backyard yesterday since the Evanston Community Foundation staff are all coming over today.

(Don’t worry guys - it’s gone!)

Honestly I hated to have it treated, but ya know, with a 9 year old and a dog, it had to go.

But it did make me think about the worst jobs I’ve had. That felt like this.

One where the position I took was nothing close to what was described in the interviews.

One where the few staff cried every day.

One where someone routinely took my work to meetings and passed it off as his own, with no credit or opportunity for me to move up.

If you’re in any sort of wasp nest situation, whether at work or in your personal life, it’s okay to leave.

It’s okay to find a way out.

It’s okay to put yourself first.

And, if you need someone to help, I’m here!

I can help you get out - I’ve helped 500+ people do this in my 7 years of this work.
